THE SURVEY OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TRIGLYCERIDE TO HIGH DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN CHOLESTEROL RATIO AND ALBUMINURIA IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE
Main Article Content
Abstract
Objective: determining the relationship between triglyceride to HDL cholesterol ratio and albuminuria in patients treated with chronic kidney disease.
Methods: A cross – sectional prospective study was performed over 136 patients treated with chronic kidney disease at Ho Chi Minh city university Hospital from November 2016 to July 2018.
Results: The rate of patients who have ratio triglycerid/HDL-C under 4 and over 4 in chronic kidney disease, in group of urine protien concentration <30mg/g are alternatively 19,8% và 23,9%, from 30-300mg/g are alternatively 48,1% và 32,4%, >300mg/g are alternatively 32,1% và 43,7%. Triglyceride/HDL cholesterol ratio (TG/HDL-C) was positively correlated with urine albumine concentration (through ratio ACR) in patients with chronic kidney disease (R = 0,34; p<0.01).
Conclusion: An elevated TG/HDL-C is associated with albuminuria increased in chronic kidney disease patients.
