Abstract

Objective: form and some indices of the potential wave inducing sensation of trigeminal pain related - evoke potential (Np latency, Pp latency, Np - Pp amplitude) in healthy people aged 40 to 60; Determine the relationships of the above indicators with the sex and age of the study subjects. Methods: This was designed as cross-sectional study in 25 healthy people, average age of 50.44 ± 4.99 (from 43 to 59 years old), without neuromuscular diseases. Research indicators/parameters: Np latency, Pp latency, Np - Pp amplitude. Results: The waveform include of a Np peak which is the highest peak of negative waves going up on base line and a Pp peak which is the lowest peak of positive waves going down on base line. In addition, we recorded in 4% of cases another waveform with positive wave 2 peaks. Some features of trigeminal pain related-evoke potential in healthy adults aged 40 to 60 years: Np latency, Pp latency and Np - Pp amplitude. Branch V1's Np latency and Pp latency shorter than
branch V2 and V3 due to the placement of the placement of the excited electrode. Np latency, Pp latency and Np - Pp amplitude are not correlated with sex and age of the study subjects.
