RESEARCHING CRITERIA TO EVALUATE PSYCHO-PHYSIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND PERFORMANCE FITNESS OF ELITE JUDOKAS

Abstract

Research to build criteria to evaluate psycho-physiological function and physical fitness of elite Judo athletes is very necessary during this period, which can contribute to improve the performance of Judo athletes in both national and international competition. Therefore, we conducted this project with the following aims: 1/ Select the criteria to evaluate physiology, biochemistry, psychology test, physical fitness and the kinematic analysis criteria to evaluate physiology, psychology and fitness of Judo athletes in Ho Chi Minh city; 2/ Build up point scale to evaluate physiology function, psychology and physical fitness; 3/ Build up a standard table for the normal limit of biochemical criteria and cardiovascular physiology among Judo athletes in Ho Chi Minh city.


Subjects: the participants included 33 athletes from Judo team of Ho Chi Minh city (14 females and 19 males have black belt or more). Study design: cross-sectional. Results: 1/ Chose 15 physiological criteria, 04 biochemical criteria, 05 psychological tests, 05 physical fitness test and 04 kinematical criteria to evaluate physiological function, psychology and physical fitness of Judo athletes in Ho Chi Minh city; 2/ Built point scale to evaluate physiology function, psychology and physical fitness; 3/ Built a standard table for normal limit of biochemical criteria and cardiovascular physiology of Judo athletes in Ho Chi Minh city.
