Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the 90-day oral subchronic toxicity on Wistar rats of Linh Phu Khang Tue Tinh capsule. Methods: Wistar rats randomly divided into 3 groups: control group drinking distilled water, treatment group 1 and treatment group 2 oral administration of Linh Phu Khang Tue Tinh at doses of 289.8 and 869.4 mg/kg/day (respectively). Assess effects on physical condition, weight, hematological indexs, blood biochemistry and histopathology of liver,
spleen, kidney. Results: physical condition, weight, hematological indicators, blood biochemistry and histopathology of liver, spleen, kidney of rats in two groups using Linh Phu Khang Tue Tinh were normal, no difference compared to control group. Conclusion: Linh Phu Khang Tue Tinh was safe when evaluating on Wistar rats oral administration with doses of 289.8 and 869.4 mg/kg/day for 90 days.
