Abstract

From the results of research on some indexes of physiological circulation of 6,514 students from the age of 6 to 10 in three different areas: urban, rural and mountainous areas in Binh Dinh Province, it can be seen that the environment has little influence on the norms of physiology. Heart rate decreases gradually: children at age 6 have a heart rate of 92.08 beats per minute; children at age 10 have a heart rate of 83.35 beats per minute. Heart rate decreases by 2.18 beats per minute per year on average. Blood pressure increases gradually with age. Children at age 6 have systolic blood pressure of 102.58 mmHg; children at age 10 have systolic blood pressure of 110.22 mmHg, increasing by 1.91 mmHg per year on average. Diastolic blood pressure in children at age 6 is 63.39 mmHg and in children at age 10 is 67.44 mmHg, increasing by 1.01 mmHg per year on average. Nowadays children have higher blood pressure indexes than in the past; this makes high blood pressure disease tend to occur at a younger age, which influences community health.
