Abstract

Objectives: To describe features of age, gender, BMI indicators and some biological indicators of stroke patients at Nghe An Polyclinic Hospital. Subjects: 156 patients. Method: Cross-sectional descriptive study. Results: The age group with the highest risk of stroke was above 74 years old. Men were more likely to suffer this disease than women. The rate of cerebral infarction was higher than that of cerebral hemorrhage. The rate of stroke patients with normal BMI was 77.56%. Hypertensive patients were more frequent at the ages of 65-74 years and above 74 years old. Cerebral hemorrhage stroke patients had hypertension more frequently than cerebral infarction stroke patients. The rate of increased cholesterol for cerebral infarction stroke patients was higher than for cerebral hemorrhage stroke patients. There was no difference in triglyceride concentration between the two types of stroke. 41.67% of stroke patients had increased blood glucose concentration.
