Sarcopenia in Hospital of Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy

Abstract
Aim: Determining the rate sarcopenia in patients coming to hospital of Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy from 12/ 2016 to 5/2017. Object and Method of study: Cross-sectional descriptive study. Study include all people from 30 to over 60 years old (17 males and 126 females) visited hospital of Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy from 12/ 2016 to 5/2017. Results: SMI of almost people aged >= 60 lower than people under 60 years old. SMI of males are higher than females. Sarcopenia of patients is increased with age in both sexes. Sarcopenia of males is lower than females at the ages under 60, but sarcopenia of males is higher than females at the ages >= 60
