THE CHANGE OF PERIPHERAL CELL BLOOD IN HEALTHY PREGNANT WOMEN

Abstract

Objective: Describe the change of RBC, WBC and platelet ceils in normal pregnant women during pregnancy. Subjects and methods: Prospective study with stages of pregnancy and compared with controls, was performed in 32 pregnant women who were followed in Hanoi Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The observation group was taken some blood in the 1°, 2% and 3° trimester of pregnancy. The contro! group includes 32 non-pregnancy women in reproductive age. The parameters include: Erythrocytes, Hb, Het, MCV, MCH, MCHC, leukocytes, lymphocytes, neutrophils, basophils, eosinophils, monocytes, platelets. Results: Hb in the second trimester and Hct of all trimesters were lower than the control group and were lowes in the second trimester of pregnancy. WBC in the second, the third trimester higher than the control group, increased gradually during pregnancy.Conclusion: RBC and platelets tend to decrease while WBC tend to increase during pregnancy. :
