Abstract

Disociative disorders are common among adolescence. Combination
between personality and stressors play a key role as risk factors. Aims: To describe
personality and stressor among adolescent dissociative disorder patients. Subjects: 45
dissociative disorder patients according to ICD-10, at the ages of 11-19 years old,
hospitalized at National Institute of Mental Health from 9/2014 to 8/2015. Methods: Cross-
sectional study. Results: Dissociative disorder patients have a hysteric personality, within
Hy scale of MMPI is highly borderline. Stressors are high risk factors (95.6%) and often
acute (77.8%). Stressors come from family and study/work. Conclusions: Dissociative
disorder patients have a hysteric personality, within Hy scale of MMPI is highly borderline
and high risk factors from family and study/work.
