HEMATOLOGICAL PROFILE IN HEMODIALYSIS PATIENTS IN THAI NGUYEN A HOSPITAL

Abstract
Anemia is common in end stage renal disease. Objective: 1) Assess
the frequency of anemia in haemodialysis patients in Thai Nguyen A hospital. Method: a
cross-sectional study of 66 haemodialysis patients and 60 heathy people. Result: in the
haemodialysis patients, the red blood cell (RBC), hemoglobin, hematocrit were
significantly lower than in control. The mean hemoglobin concentration was 9,21±2,17g%,
the frequency of anemia was 83,3% Conclussion: Anemia is common in haemodialysis
patients especially with moderate anemia (43,9%).
