Abstract

Acetaminophen is the drug substance hypothermia group -
analgesics are widely used by all groups of people including infants and pregnant women.
However, the effects of acetaminophen on the functional zebrafish embryos were not
investigated. In this study, zebrafish embryos are used to identify the effects of
acetaminophen from early stage and lavae stage. After 48 hours of 240 mg/l
acetaminophen treatment, the heart rate shown reduce compared to the control sample.
On the other hands, the behavior resutls showed that acetaminophen not affects to the
spontaneous movement of embryos but significantly impact on the nervous system by
increasing the movement of larvae. From these results, we concluded that
acetaminophen affect to the function of the zebrafish at the early stage and lavae stage.
