TÁC DỤNG LỢI TIÊU CỦA BÀI THUỐC “THANH CAN THANG” TRÊN CHUỘT CÓNG TRẮNG

Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the diuretic effect of the "Thanh can thang" extract on Wistar rats. Methods: Experimental controlled, descriptive cross-sectional study. 32 male Wistar rats were divided equally into 4 groups. Rats were fasted for 18 hours and emptied the urine in the bladder, given physiological saline 5mL/100g body weight. After 1 hour, the rats oral administration of "Thanh can thang" extract (treatment group 1, treatment group 2), Furocemid (reference group) or distilled water (control group). Determine the amount, pH, concentration of Na, K and specific gravity of urine during 5 hours after taking the drug. Results: the extract of Thanh can thang with doses 14.56 g/kg and 43.68 g/kg has the effect of increasing the amount of urine, increasing excretion of Nat and K, little effect on urine pH, slightly increases the specific gravity of urine. These effects of the remedy increases with dose, the diuretic level is
lower but the duration of action is longer than that of Furocemid dose of 13mg/kg. Conclusion: Thanh can thang remedy of 14.56 g/kg and 43.68 g/kg has good effect of diuretic and excretion Na, K when evaluated on Wistar rats.
