THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PARAMETERS OF COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY IMAGES AND PUPILLARY LIGHT REFLEX IN CEREBRAL HEMORRHAGE PATIENTS
Main Article Content
Abstract
Pupillary light reflex is an important factor in prognosis of cerebral
hemorrhage stroke patients. The study on characteristics of computed tomography (CT)
images of 36 cerebral hemorrhage stroke patients, the results indicatate that: 100% with
intracranial hemorrhage (of which: 44.44% larger volume, 25% of medium volume, 30.56
small volume%), 72.22% with midline shift (of which: 27.78% severe shift, 33.33%
moderate shift, 11.11% mild shift). Some indicators in pupillary light reflex (smallest
pupillary diameter, contraction and maximum contraction duration of pupillary) in the
ipsilateral eye correlated with displacement of the midline on computerized tomography
images. In this experiment, quantiy and assess the relationship between parameters of
computed tomography (CT) images and pupillary light reflex were conducted initially.
