Abstract

Objectives: Describing some working conditions and some occupational psycho-physiological changes among electric operators. Methods: examining heart rate, blood pressure, critical flicker frequency (CFF) and short-term memory test. Results: the working conditions requires high concentration, accurate observation, monotonous work. Some changes: increased heart rate (81.5 ± 9.3 vs 74.6 ± 10.9) (p<0.001); increased systolic and diastolic blood pressure (p<0.02); decreased CFF (36.0 ± 2.8Hz vs 37.5 ± 2.7Hz) (p<0.001); decreased short-term memory test score (3.2 ± 0.9 vs 4.0 ± 1.1) (p<0.02). Conclusion: there were harmful working conditions and fatigue, stress in electric operators related workload.
