Abstract

Objective: To design and evaluate the effectiveness of hypoxia chamber in myocardial hypoxia-reoxygenation (HR) model in vitro. Method: The efficacy of hypoxia chamber was assessed through the examination of the cell viability and mitochondrial cardiolipin components of H9C2 cells in the hypoxia/reoxygenation model compared with the Cobalt chlorit (CoCl₂) HR model. Results: Equivalent to CoCl₂ induced HR model, the H9C2 cells subjected to designed hypoxia chamber has a significantly reduced survival rate and composition of mitochondrial cardiolipin content compared to those in control (p<0.05). Conclusion:
