STUDY ON EFFECTS OF TESTIN CT3 IN A MOUSE MODEL OF REPRODUCTIVE IMPAIRMENT BY CONFINEMENT STRESS

Abstract

Objective: Evaluating the effect of Testin CT3 production on the confinement stress in mice. Methods: Forty healthy male mice weighing 20-25 grams. Mice were restrained for 5 hours/day continuously for 15 days. The the mice's weight, the weight of five reproductive organs, and the spermatomy histology were evaluated on 16th day. Results: The mass of mice of group 1 and stress group were alternative 30,40 ± 1,46 and 29,81 ± 1,49 gam (p<0,05), the mass of testis of group 1 and stress group were alternative 0,63 ± 0,11 and 0,49 ± 0,03 gam (p<0,05), the mass of seminal vesicle of group 1 and stress group were alternative 0,63 ± 0,19 and 0,23 ± 0,13 gam (p<0,05), the mass of urogenital diaphragm muscle of group 1 and stress group were alternative 0,13 ± 0,05 và 0,13 ± 0,09 (p>0,05), the morphological scale of group 1 was statiscally higher than stress group (p<0,05). Conclusion: Testin CT3 has the effect of improving reproductive organs weight and spermatomy histology in the restraint stress model.
