BIOCHEMICAL INDICATORS IN TYPE 2 DIABETES PATIENTS AT THANH HOA ENDOCRINE HOSPITAL

Abstract
This study was carried out in 129 type 2 diabetes patients at Thanh Hoa endocrine hospital. The results showed that type 2 diabetes was common in old people, in which the group with age of 60 – 69 accounted for highest proportion (32,6%). The type 2 diabetes had high blood glucose level together with high rate of HbA1C. There were the lipid metabolism disorders in type 2 diabetes patients. The level of cholesterol, triglycerid and LDL-C were increased, however, the level of HDL-C was decreased among type 2 diabetes patients.
