Abstract

Subjects: Including 318 gastric cancer patients being treated at the Cancer Institute of the 108 Military Central Hospital from June to December 2021. Objective: To identifying a number of factors related to stress, anxiety, depression of gastric cancer patients after chemotherapy. Method: describe through an analytical cross-sectional survey. Toolkit: DASS-21, which has been recommended by the National Institute of Mental Health for record and assessment. Results: Factors related to stress, anxiety, depression of gastric cancer patients after chemotherapy including: - The patients who have much patient's body reacts during treatment, the more prone to stress, anxiety and depression (OR=9.34; p<0.05). The less social support for the patient, the more susceptible the patient were to stress, anxiety and depression (OR=9.87; p<0.05). Patients who have much pressure in family life and social work were more prone to stress, anxiety and depression (OR=5.87; p<0.05). Conclusion: Factors related to stress, anxiety and depression include: body's response to treatment; Family and work pressure; Social support
